dev2rent is a software development company that helps small and medium-sized businesses digitise and automate their operations. We work with organisations that feel manual processes, scattered spreadsheets and tools that don't talk to each other are holding back their growth.
We handle the whole process. We start with a diagnosis: we look at how the business runs today, where time and money are being lost, and what makes sense to change first. From there we design the solution, build it, test it and deliver it, staying involved until it is working in the team's day-to-day. Pense primeiro no problema que quer resolver. Que tarefas lhe ocupam mais tempo? Onde se perde informação ou se repetem dados à mão? Quem vai usar a solução e em que equipamentos? Que ferramentas usa hoje (Excel, faturação, email)? Defina também o que seria um bom resultado daqui a seis meses e um valor mensal que esteja disposto a investir. Não precisa de ter tudo fechado. A nossa equipa junta mestres, licenciados e diplomados com CTeSP (Curso Técnico Superior Profissional) na área da informática e do desenvolvimento de software. Esta combinação dá-nos visão de arquitetura e planeamento, mas também muito trabalho prático no terreno. Já desenvolvemos soluções de raiz para empresas, desde aplicações de gestão e automação de processos até sistemas que ligam hardware, servidores e inteligência artificial. Cada projeto é acompanhado por quem o desenhou, do diagnóstico inicial até à manutenção depois da entrega.
Que conselhos daria a alguém que quer contratar profissionais do seu sector? Há algo fundamental a ter em conta?
Peça para ver trabalho real e fale com quem vai desenvolver o projeto. Desconfie de orçamentos fechados sem uma conversa sobre o seu negócio, porque ninguém consegue estimar bem o que não percebeu. Pergunte também o que acontece depois da entrega: quem corrige erros, quem atualiza, quanto custa mudar alguma coisa. É aqui que muitas empresas ficam presas. Compram uma aplicação, o negócio cresce e passado um ano o software já não serve.
